Hello! I'm a finance major with a passion for helping students build confidence in math, problem-solving, and analytical thinking. I currently maintain a 3.83 GPA in college and have always enjoyed working with numbers and finding creative ways to explain challenging concepts.
My interest in education started early. Both of my parents are teachers, so I grew up seeing firsthand how impactful great instruction can be. Their influence taught me the importance of patience, adaptability, and creating a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes.
Throughout high school, I accelerated my math coursework and stayed two years ahead of my grade level. As a senior, I completed Calculus II and earned a 28 on the math section of the ACT. These experiences gave me a strong foundation in subjects including algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, statistics, and finance.
I enjoy working with middle school, high school, and introductory college students in one-on-one settings. My teaching style focuses on understanding the "why" behind each concept rather than simply memorizing formulas. I break complex problems into manageable steps and tailor my explanations to each student's learning style so they can build confidence and become independent learners.
Whether you're preparing for an upcoming exam, working through difficult homework assignments, or trying to strengthen your understanding of a subject, I'm committed to helping you reach your goals and making learning a rewarding experience.
