Hi, I'm Jana! I hold a B.A. in Communication and Marketing Studies from 2011, which provided me with a strong foundation in clear communication and analytical thinking skills I use every day to break down complex topics. I recently completed my TQUK TEFL Certification (2025), solidifying my expertise in effective teaching methodologies, especially for language learners.
My teaching experience starts as EFL (English as a Foreign Language) in a private language school in Mexico. I've had the incredible opportunity working with students, ranging from middle schoolers to adults over 40. In my small group classes (4-12 students), I've focused on teaching English grammar, phonetics, and specialized vocabulary tailored to their professions, including fields like Hospitality and Tourism, Scuba Diving, Nursing, and Customer Management. I often create unique curricula to accelerate my students' language needs.
