I love tutoring because I can help students take control of their learning and guide them to a place where they can feel comfortable and confident in their knowledge. I am a big believer in learning through mistakes -- I've found that students tend to learn the best if they have the chance to try and sometimes fail in a safe space like a tutoring session. This helps them build their understanding and develop the confidence for real assessments.

I have more than 8 years of formal and informal tutoring, and I have provided formal teaching assistant services for four semesters in college for biology and chemistry courses. I have tutored in almost every science (biology, chemistry, physics) up until an intermediate level, and I also have experience with SAT/ACT/PSAT tutoring.

I have extensive experience with mathematics courses until Calculus 1, and I have used mathematical concepts from these courses in biology, chemistry, and physics throughout high school and college.
