My tutoring strategy is to cut straight to the areas of greatest need based objectively on past exam score breakdowns while also making sure students take exams regularly to get thorough, consistent practice.
To that end, I have a large, unique bank of subtopic-specific questions at different difficulty levels, and I teach in ways beyond any traditional prep with the highest engagement and efficiency, complementing content with strategy, managing time and stress.

My rate is $200/hour, and I don't charge for prep between meetings or if we run a little long; my focus is on one thing: maximizing your child’s score in the shortest possible time. Typically meeting twice a week, my students regularly score in the 1500s, improving on average 100 points a month vs 50 a month with the next best prep. A boost of even a few points translates into tens of thousands of dollars in merit aid and opening of admissions doors.

Progressing well..

Thanks to Tapan, Aaron is increasing his Kahn Academy SAT mock exam scores. A couple more sessions Aaron may just ace the SAT. Usually Aaron scores higher in Math than Reading, now his scores are reciprocal, both scoreas are well over 700 so we are extremely happy that both tutor and student.
