I hope to be your math tutor. My BS degree is from UWS in 1998. My GPA is 2.80. I have successfully tutored a couple of students. I have a letter of reference to provide from Jennifer B. Jennifer is a teaching major who had completed her coursework but had failed on three occasions to pass the Praxis I Math exam. I assisted her to build confidence in herself and her ability to tackle the problems by learning how to solve the problem rather than just trying to get an answer. Once she was able to see how to solve a problem her scores improved. Jennifer passed the test and is now a certified early childhood teacher in the state of Minnesota.

A second student is Olivia O. I have tutored her successfully for two years bringing her algebra grades up from an F to a C. Again the key was determining how to go about solving the problem. That is the pattern I will follow with you. I have also substitute taught in the Superior, WI, school system at the MS and HS level quite frequently this past year and plan to do so next year as well.
