Bio

I have been providing private instruction in brass, piano, theory, and music composition since 1996. I have a BMus in trumpet performance from Andrews University and a MMus in trumpet performance from the University of Minnesota. I currently maintain a busy studio teaching brass, piano, and theory in the southwest Minneapolis metro area. I have written a series of method and theory books for use with private brass students. All private students are taught ear training as part of their private music lessons. I have been teaching privately since 1996 and have a MMus in trumpet performance from the University of Minnesota.

I have a MMus from the University of Minnesota with a secondary emphasis in Music History. My speciality is early instrumental music, specifically in the area of brass music.

While working on my bachelors in Trumpet Performance I played trombone with the Andrews University Trombone Choir. I have several trombone students who have participated in area youth orchestras and state honor bands.
