I am a licensed Minnesota Special Education teacher currently teaching middle school students in a public school setting. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Economics and a Master of Science in Business Intelligence and Data Analytics, and I am currently completing a master's degree in Special Education. Throughout my career, I have worked with students of varying academic abilities, including those with learning disabilities, emotional and behavioral disorders, attention difficulties, and executive functioning challenges. My experience allows me to adapt instruction to meet each student's unique learning style and needs.

In my current role, I teach and support students in grades 6 through 8 in mathematics, study skills, organization, and social-emotional learning. I have experience teaching concepts such as fractions, decimals, ratios, probability, algebra, coordinate planes, equations, and problem-solving strategies. I work with students in both small-group and individualized settings and regularly provide interventions designed to build academic confidence and improve long-term success. My teaching approach focuses on breaking complex concepts into manageable steps, providing clear explanations, and creating a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes as part of the learning process.

In addition to academic instruction, I help students develop executive functioning skills such as organization, time management, study habits, goal setting, and self-advocacy. I believe every student can learn and grow when provided with the right support, encouragement, and strategies. Whether a student needs help catching up, building confidence, preparing for an exam, or developing stronger learning habits, I strive to create engaging and personalized lessons that help them reach their goals both inside and outside the classroom.
