I have a Ph.D. in Pharmacology with a focus on neurodegenerative diseases, plus minors in Chemistry and Biology. Science has always been my thing, but what I’ve really enjoyed over the years is helping others make sense of it. There’s something rewarding about seeing a concept click for someone who was struggling with it.
I’ve worked with more than 20 undergraduate students as a tutor, helping them tackle everything from chemistry equations to complex biological pathways. On top of that, I was a Teaching Assistant (TA) during my Ph.D., where I led discussions, guided students through lab work, and helped break down tough material in a way that made sense. My approach to teaching is all about making things accessible—no unnecessary jargon, just clear explanations and a lot of patience. I know that science can feel overwhelming, so I focus on building confidence and making learning engaging. Whether it’s one-on-one tutoring or a classroom setting, I aim to make the material approachable to students.
