Many of my students went on to become professional musicians, music teachers and composers. I am proud to say that nearly all were successful at competitions and auditions for Musical Theater productions, college vocal auditions and competitions.
I taught general music to Elementary and Middle school students, which included notation (reading and writing music), solfège singing, sight reading, the elements of music, and music history, including composer biography and styles and the specifics of musical periods in history.
I am ready to help with reading and writing music, music theory, music history and vocal coaching as well as helping students jump that hurdle from wishing they could to actually playing the piano! I have a very personal approach with the aim of building confidence in skills, sharing the sense of accomplishment, and the enjoyment of music and all its facets.
