Bio

Hi, I'm Michael! I've been tutoring math and other subjects for over 15 years, working with elementary school, middle school, high school, and college students in everything from Algebra and Geometry to Accounting And Statistics. I also bring a background in accounting, which helps me connect math to real-world situations.

I also have many years experience with test preparation in a variety of subjects including PSAT, SAT, ACT, and ASVAB.

Hi, I'm Michael! I've been tutoring math and other subjects for over 15 years, working with elementary school, middle school, high school, and college students in everything from Algebra and Geometry to Accounting And Statistics. I also bring a background in accounting, which helps me connect math to real-world situations.

I also have many years experience with test preparation in a variety of subjects including PSAT, SAT, ACT, and ASVAB.

Every student learns differently, so I start by figuring out what clicks for each person. Some need step-by-step explanations, others learn best through practice problems, and some benefit from test strategies that build confidence. My goal is to make math clear, manageable, and less stressful.

I work diligently and focus on those areas that require improvement. As a result, most students start to see significant improvement in their scores in as little as 2 weeks.

I offer both online and in-person sessions across Metro Detroit. Most of the time I meet at libraries or quiet public places, but I'm also open to in-home sessions if that's easier. My schedule is flexible during the week and weekends, and I can usually book within 48 hours' notice.
