Chris is engaging, knowledgeable, enthusiastic, dedicated and puts in extra time to make sure when they have a lesson that it is a high-yield hour. He has gone out of his way to make sure that our daughter feels comfortable with the material and the AP testing format. He has taught AP World History for many years and really knows the Ins and outs of the AP course/test. He is flexible and will send extra information to help solidify concepts. He has been flexible with our crazy schedule and finds time to make it work. She looks forward to her sessions with Chris because she knows she’s going to feel more confident and have a better understanding of the material after. She is doing excellent in the class and we know the sessions with Chris are helping. We have never used any type of tutoring before and I think Chris has spoiled us. I wish he could tutor for all subjects because it is hard to find people as committed, engaging, caring and talented as Chris. We feel like we hit the tutor jackpot. He is truly one-of-a-kind. The best.

"I rarely write reviews for anything. But this time, I'd like to make an exception for an AP World History tutor I've found from WYZANT. His name is Christopher L. I've found a couple of AP World History private tutors and tried out to see if they can boost my daughter's GPA at school. Unfortunately, her GPA kept B till we found Chris. Just after the first class, my daughter immediately told me that Chris is the best among the other tutors, so although it is kind of late, it's been in the middle of March already, and Chris' schedule was very tight, I decided to switch tutors. Within just a few classes, Chris helped my daughter a lot, and she got an A on the college board exam! Both my daughter and I are very excited! If you want to boost your kid's GPA in the AP World History subject, I highly recommend Christopher as your private tutor.

Excellent tutor - helped with DBQs
Christopher tutored my daughter in AP World History. In one lesson she gained a tremendous amount of confidence in how to answer DBQs. THE BEST AP WORLD HISTORY TUTOR!
My son needed extra help with his first AP class and he started to work with Chris. My son has improved exponentially in grasping the material under Chris' guidance. He is patient, interactive, and truly cares. He spends extra time and energy to make sure he understands the material. Chris has in-depth knowledge of the contents and construction of the APWH exam and provides valuable materials that focus on the key concepts, relationships, and vocabulary. My son is performing well in his class and learning how to critically think and understand complex concepts which will foster academic success across all subject matters. Chris is a phenomenal teacher and hand's down, the only tutor to hire. Period.

Personalized Tutoring
Chris is an outstanding tutor. He understands not only the subject he is teaching, but the student he is teaching it to. He reviewed prior lessons, tests, and notes to identify where and why my son was struggling in class. He established a baseline and foundation to build off of.
