I am most passionate about reading tutoring and the skills needed to help students become strong readers. I am familiar with Guided Reading, The Science of Reading, and Phonics. When it comes to math and other subjects reading is often the foundation, I enjoy helping students gain confidence in their skills. As a student, I struggled with my learning due to ADHD and didn't receive a diagnosis until I was an adult. I have many coping skills and strategies that can help a student who is struggling to focus or complete their tasks.
My educational background includes an associate's degree in Early Childhood Education & ASL, a bachelor's in Elementary Education, and recently received a master's in Business.
