I am a native Spanish speaker with a great understanding of the Hispanic culture. I grew up in Monterrey, Mexico, where I earned a BS in Computer Information Systems and worked as a college teacher, English/Spanish translator and in diverse environments. I moved to Michigan in 2007, and since then I've been teaching and tutoring Spanish. Actually I work as a Medical Interpreter at the St. Joseph Mercy Health System.

I enjoy teaching kids and young adults my native language. When teaching, I try to create a "real-life" environment and encourage the students to participate so that they can apply what they learn.
