Fun, Engaging, Expert French tutor!
My partner and I worked with Sonia for 7 weeks leading up to our vacation in France. We both could not have been more delighted with the tutoring experience! My partner had a limited background in the French language (from high school decades ago), and I had no background. We learned so much during our time with Sonia. She expertly delivered lessons tailored to our specific interests and needs - greetings and goodbyes, travel and transit phrases, food/wine and how to order at restaurants, boulangeries, wine shops, etc. When Sonia learned we would spend a few days in the Champagne region, she put together fun, educational, and exciting wine-focused lessons for us. Going to France, I felt so prepared to confidently communicate simple phrases, greetings, and questions in the language. My partner and I were very proud of ourselves trying out our new language learnings - I think Sonia would've been proud, too. If you want to learn or brush up on French, look no further than Sonia. She is truly so kind, welcoming, intelligent, curious, and has a lovely sense of humor! She will make you feel at ease from the first lesson, works at your speed, and never imparts judgement.
