Hi, I’m Alexandra! I’ve been tutoring for over eight years, beginning in the Royal Oak School District and later as a peer tutor at Wayne State University, where I earned my Bachelor's degree in Psychology. I’m currently pursuing a second degree in Accounting & Finance, and I work full-time in healthcare administration—an experience that strengthens my organizational skills and brings a practical lens to my teaching.

For the past two years, I’ve worked at a math-focused tutoring center, providing personalized math instruction to students of all ages. I specialize in focused lessons designed to help middle and high school students prepare for Algebra 1 test-outs, building the skills and confidence they need to succeed.

I tutor learners from age 3 and up, starting with early numeracy and continuing through high school math. I also offer support in all elementary school subjects, as well as middle and high school English and Social Studies. For older students and adult learners, I provide tutoring in introductory Psychology, study skills, test preparation, Accounting, Finance, and foundational business concepts.

My background in Developmental Psychology allows me to tailor each session to the student’s unique learning style. I focus on helping students build strong study habits, boost confidence, and overcome test anxiety or mental blocks.

Whether your child is just beginning their academic journey or you're preparing for a placement/test-out exam, I bring patience, encouragement, and proven strategies to help you succeed. Let’s unlock your full potential together!
