I have over two years of teaching experience as a supplemental instructor at my undergraduate institution, where I led a discussion section of over 30 students biweekly. In addition, I attended class with the students, made lesson plans, and held office hours and study sessions. This experience pushed me to come up with new ways to explain concepts that were suited to each student’s learning style. Their responsiveness and the look on their faces when they first understood a concept was the most rewarding aspect of the job. I hope to have the same impact on you!
