I am an experienced teacher with 23 years in the classroom, teaching everything from 6th grade math through AP Calculus. I specialize in helping struggling and neurodivergent learners build confidence and clarity in math. I’ve taught students ages 11 to 18 in general education, special education, small group intervention, and one on one settings, and I understand how to create a calm, predictable learning environment where students feel safe enough to think and ask questions.

My approach is patient, step by step, and highly structured. I break concepts into manageable pieces, use visuals and real world examples, and help students build confidence through small wins. I genuinely enjoy working with learners who feel overwhelmed or discouraged, watching them finally “get it” is the best part of my job.

For parents: I know how stressful math can become when your child is anxious, discouraged, or convinced they “just can’t do it.” My goal is to partner with you to rebuild their confidence through clear communication, gentle structure, and steady progress. You’ll always know what we’re working on, why we’re doing it, and how your child is growing.
