Hi. I am Joanne. I have been a math teacher for almost 20 years. I have also taught at Sylvan, where in addition to teaching their programs, I do a lot of homework support and Test prep. My students often request me because I can explain things in many different ways.

Hi. I am Joanne. I have been a math teacher for almost 20 years. I have also taught at Sylvan, where in addition to teaching their programs, I do a lot of homework support and Test prep. My students often request me because I can explain things in many different ways.

I love to see students succeed. I can tutor anything prealgebra, algebra1, algebra 2, geometry, trigonometry, precalculus, and college algebra, along with test prep. Many students have not been successful in math, so they don't like it, and I would like to change that.

I can explain things in many different ways and have many different resources, so I can help students as much as possible.

I have been teaching ACT prep seminars at a tutoring center for the past 10 years. I know the test like the back of my hand. In addition to knowing the content, I know a lot of test taking strategies to help you succeed.

I have taught Algebra 1 for over 15 years. I am able to explain things in many different ways to help students understand concepts. I also have a lot of additional resources if students need them.

I have taught Algebra 2 for several years and continue to help students at Sylvan with it. I also have tutored Algebra 2 and can explain topics in many different ways, so students can understand.

I have taught geometry for several years. If students need extra practice, I have different resources to help them.

I have taught Prealgebra for several years. I also have a lot of resources if students need extra practice. I try to make math as meaningful and as easy as possible for students to understand.

I really enjoy helping students with Precalculus. I can explain things in different ways and try to find out what works best for the student. I have tutored Precalculus for the last few years, and students at Sylvan often request me.

I have taught SAT seminars the last couple years. I know the format of the test really well. In addition to helping you with the content, I can help you with some strategies to help you succeed with the test.

I love trigonometry and have tutored it for the last few years. There are many parts of trigonometry which can be confusing, but I like to think I can make it easier.
