If you are seeking a registered nurse, with a passion for teaching; you have landed in the right place. My passion inspired me to earn a Masters degree in nursing with a focus on education (MSN, Ed., RN). I have over 30 years of nursing experience and have been teaching throughout my career in one aspect or another. Many of my years of nursing included preceptor ship, new employee training, pt and family teaching and I presently teach nursing students in the classroom as well as the clinical areas.
I would love to help you better understand nursing principles and concepts; as well as provide strategies to help you pass exams.
Pick a nursing topic and I can help you to better understand it. (Although I have a personal preference for pharmacology, Med/Surg, and Mental Health :)).
Passing an exam is more than knowing the content or the answers to the questions...I have test taking skills to share with anyone whom I tutor.
The field of science is amazing to me. My love for nursing, interest in science and ability to transfer information makes me a great teacher, educator and tutor. If you are challenged by nursing courses, passing tests, or would like strengthening in a certain topic, I can help.
