I am currently a student at Washtenaw Community College in Ann Arbor, where I initially spent much of my time in the welding program before transitioning into pre-engineering. Through this path, I developed a strong appreciation for both hands-on problem solving and the theoretical foundation behind engineering concepts. I have successfully completed College Algebra and Pre-Calculus, earning an A in both courses, and I am very comfortable with the material. My current GPA is a 3.92, and my academic goal is to transfer to the University of Michigan College of Engineering in either Fall or Winter 2027.
During my studies, I sought out a tutor on my own when I realized how much clearer math became with the right guidance. That experience made a huge difference in my confidence and understanding, especially in building intuition rather than memorizing steps. It also showed me how powerful personalized, one-on-one instruction can be. As a tutor, I focus on breaking down concepts in a clear, logical way and adapting explanations to how each student learns, whether they need help with fundamentals, problem-solving strategies, or long-term confidence in math.
