As a mentor, I tailor my approach to each student, utilizing diverse strategies such as visual aids, spaced repetition, and self-testing to ensure effective learning. I assist with homework, identifying and addressing weak points, and provide practice tests to simulate exam conditions before assessments.
One of the most rewarding aspects of my work is witnessing students transform their grades from Cs and Bs to As. Beyond boosting grades, I prioritize instilling responsibility and a genuine passion for learning in my students. I believe in fostering long-term learning, which is why I prefer to work with students over an extended period of time. Currently, I am tutoring four students and have reviews from parents available upon request.
Currently, I am taking students for the summer! Summer is a great time to supplement kids' learning between grades or to prepare older students for SAT/ACT and college readiness.
