I have a passion for writing, which developed during my time studying and then teaching Latin in an urban setting. I am drawn to the syntax, mood, and vocabulary of sentences to express ourselves in the most effective way. To me, the best writing is void of flowery language, but is able to create images and be understood by a variety of audience members. Structuring a paper is also a skill that allows the author to be expressive in the most effective way. While my strengths lie in narrative writing, I feel confident--through my experience as a citizen, parent, and teacher--that I can be helpful in a variety of academic topics. It would be a pleasure to help others fine tune their writing, consider other options for making points, or simply complete assignments they feel good about.
