My name is Brandon and I graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering. I am currently in graduate school pursing a Masters of Engineering with a focus on Systems and Industrial Engineering. Due to my career path, I have a lengthy history in math and I have a great understanding on what it takes for students to be successful in math. I understand with confidence; most students dramatically improve. Therefore, my approach is to build confidence in each student by understanding what roadblocks we need to overcome and creating a unique path to help that student overcome those challenges.
I have a full year teaching assistance and tutoring experience in college Algebra at Michigan State University. I worked in the math help room at MSU for a full year where I helped a variety of students with homework and test preparation. I also hosted office hours and recitation with a small group focus. I have a focus in Algebra but I have also tutored Elementary/Middle School Math and Geometry.
I am here to support the students as much as possible, therefore I welcome any resources or suggestions from the students or parents. I am also able to provide lesson plans and additional information at request. Feel free to contact me with any additional questions or to schedule a lesson. I look forward with working with you!
