Hi! My name is Zaina, and I am currently completing my Master’s in Health Informatics at the University of Pittsburgh after previously pursuing a path toward dental school. My academic background has given me strong experience in science, health-related subjects, academic writing, and effective study techniques. I am passionate about helping students build confidence in their learning and creating a positive environment where they feel comfortable asking questions and growing at their own pace.
I specialize in science and health-related subjects for older students, while also offering support in a wide range of elementary, middle & high school subjects including English, reading comprehension, writing, math, homework help, and study skills. I enjoy working with younger students and believe learning should feel encouraging, engaging, and personalized to each students’ needs. My teaching style is patient, supportive, and interactive, and I focus on helping students truly understand concepts rather than just memorizing information.
I offer flexible online tutoring sessions and am happy to schedule a short consultation beforehand to discuss goals, learning styles, and areas where extra support may be needed. I kindly ask for advance notice for cancellations or rescheduling whenever possible. I strive to make every lesson productive, comfortable, and encouraging, and I would love the opportunity to help students grow academically and feel more confident in themselves. Feel free to reach out with any questions or to schedule a lesson!
