I’ve been told that my love of nursing and teaching is evident from the first conversation I have. I am a highly trained medical-surgical and neuroscience trauma ICU nurse. I am a lead preceptor at my ICU where I welcome, schedule and train new nurses coming into our unit. I also have 2.5 years experience as a medical surgical clinical instructor and nursing skills lab professor. While in undergrad at University of Michigan I tutored students who were in cohorts after me. Well versed in ECG rhythm identification and interventions.

In my free time I like to work out (run on trails and ice skating are my favorite workout activities). I’m also an artist with oil painting being my preferred medium. I also create pieces with pencil, pen, and charcoal. I love going to the museum, events and festivals, learning new things, watching movies, reading, and listening to music and podcasts.

Overall, I’m easy going, approachable, and love to see my students not only succeed but thrive.

I have a Bachelor or Science in Nursing, have experience tutoring students when I was in nursing school. Currently a clinical instructor at a major university and occasionally a professor of nursing clinical skills lab.
