Hello! I am Aaron, a final year Electrical Engineering student passionate about helping students master complex math and engineering concepts by showing how they actually apply to the real world. Throughout my degree, I have tackled rigorous coursework in everything from advanced mathematics to applied engineering. Because I use these concepts every day, I know exactly how to break down intimidating, multi-step problems into manageable, logical steps. Whether you are struggling with foundational high school math or diving into university-level engineering courses, I have the academic background to support your learning journey and make the material genuinely make sense.
Over the past three years, I have worked as a tutor and gained extensive experience conducting one on one sessions with multiple students. While I am comfortable teaching a variety of subjects, I specialize in higher level math with a focus on applied engineering topics. I regularly tutor students in Physics, Calculus, Differential Equations, Linear Algebra, Digital Logic, Circuit Analysis, and Signals and Systems. I am also highly proficient in MATLAB and C for those looking to sharpen their programming and modeling skills. In my sessions, instead of just having you memorize formulas for a test, we will look at the practical applications of what you are learning to turn abstract concepts into real world uses.
My ultimate goal as a tutor is to help you truly understand the "why" behind the steps, not just the "how." I strive to create a relaxed, conversational environment where asking questions is always encouraged, and making mistakes is treated as a natural part of the learning process. I tailor my approach to each individual student, focusing heavily on building your confidence and core intuition. I would love the opportunity to work together to build your problem solving skills, succeed in your current coursework, and hopefully inspire a passion for engineering in you as well!
