With a Master's in Electrical and Computer engineering from Oakland University and my Louisiana State Undergraduate, plus active PE license, I've spent close to twenty years running subtransmission and distribution systems that feed factories, campuses, and auto plants. Back in college I ran weekly TA labs: helping students finish their one-line diagrams, walked the slow one through power-flow basics, stayed late so nobody left scratching their head over per-unit conversions. I coach new hires, interns, co-ops and walk them through ETAP for load flow, short circuit, even battery sizing. I hold a PMP and coached six coworkers just drilled process groups, ran mocks, everyone got their cert. I also guide PMs through real substation projects, show them the overhead design and underground ductbank, then tie it all to the PMP budget and schedule so they stay on track.
