My name is Kasee, I have worked in the elementary school system for over three years, working one on one with students, with students as a group, and with a whole classroom. My name is Kasee, I have worked in the elementary school system for over three years, working one on one with students, with students as a group, and with a whole classroom. I have my Associates degree from Jackson College, and will be finishing up my Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education in the next two years. I started as a Substitute teacher in 2015, and absolutely love it. In 2016 I was a long term sub for a 3rd grade class guiding them through all the curriculum from October to June. This was such a rewarding experience for me, and pushed me to finish my teaching degree. I am employed as a Paraprofessional, which allows me to help the students in my classroom in one-on-one setting with reading and match, as well as students in small groups with all subjects.
Science was one of my favorite subjects to teach. I love being able to make the different subjects alive, from learning about weather to the animal lifestyles. I use many different techniques for teaching science to make it more interesting such as online videos and interactive quizzes.
Reading is my absolute favorite subject. I love being able to make a story come alive, whether it be fiction or historical fiction, nonfiction or even fantasy.
I have subbed in all grades, but love middle elementary! 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade are grades I love to teach and work one-on-one with students to help them better improve their skills.
