I’m a math and science tutor with a strong academic background and a passion for helping students break through frustration and build lasting understanding. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences from Michigan Technological University, where I developed a solid foundation in both mathematics and natural sciences through rigorous coursework and lab experience. Currently, I’m expanding my knowledge in the field of technology by pursuing a graduate certificate in Management of Artificial Intelligence at Stevens Institute of Technology.

Over the past few years, I’ve worked with students in both informal and structured one-on-one settings, helping them succeed in subjects like algebra, chemistry, biology, and general science. I believe in meeting students where they are, breaking down difficult concepts into manageable steps, and reinforcing understanding through real-world applications and active problem solving. I’m patient, detail-oriented, and committed to helping students not only improve their grades, but also gain the confidence to tackle new challenges on their own.

I’ve worked with middle school, high school, and early college students, and I always tailor my approach to match the student’s pace and preferred learning style. Whether a student is preparing for a test, struggling with homework, or aiming to get ahead, I focus on building strong conceptual foundations and critical thinking skills that last beyond the classroom. I want my students to leave each session feeling more capable, curious, and motivated.
