Exciting Start- Lesson 7!
I learned so much today! Doriana listened to my learning difficulties & formulated my learning plan to help get me on track. She taught me specific strategies to meet my learning goals, and explained my goal to write Russian may be the key to my difficulty right now. When she left, I practiced reading with the use only of the suggested alphabet chart, and I have noticed this is a wonderful strategy. I am so excited to have made progress after just one lesson! I am a motivated learner and greatly appreciate an intuitive teacher such as Doriana! Thank you! Lesson 7: More practice on cases and forming sentences, plus Doriana made a vacation study packet for me. We carefully reviewed this and my summer learning plan. I have a mixture of memorizing, reading, tests (even a fun test!) and conversational sentences to practice- another great lesson! Thank you, Doriana! Over vacation I practiced speaking out loud, forming sentences with the proper conjugations, and worked through all the written homework, after reviewing what I have learned up to now. I marked all my questions with a magic marker, and Doriana has answered them fully. I am very excited over better understanding of the grammar, and developing writing and reading skills! Doriana is wonderful!

Doriana has been tutoring our son for six months to include the summer. His overall (GPA) in reading, writing, literature and skills grades has gone up from C (May 2013) to current A (October 2013). Her teaching skills are VERY beneficial however the student must put in the work as well.
