I have built my professional and academic foundation in emergency medicine and critical care through over two decades of direct patient care and formal education. As a nationally registered paramedic with advanced certifications in critical care transport, pediatric and neonatal critical care, and life support programs such as PALS and NRP, I bring both a strong academic background and highly specialized training. I am also currently pursuing my Bachelor of Science in Nursing, which continues to expand my clinical and teaching knowledge.

My teaching experience spans more than ten years and includes classroom instruction, online continuing education, and one-on-one tutoring for EMT and paramedic students. I have taught learners at many stages, from high school students entering EMS programs to adult learners preparing for national certification exams and advanced providers seeking continuing education. In these settings I emphasize clarity, relatability, and real-world application, using scenario-based learning and case studies to ensure students understand both the concepts and their practical use.

I have worked with students in a variety of formats including formal classroom lectures, small group workshops, and personalized tutoring sessions, tailoring my approach to match each learner’s needs. This flexibility allows me to support students in mastering material that ranges from foundational EMT skills to complex critical care transport concepts. My background as both a practicing clinician and an educator has given me the ability to explain material in a way that is engaging, accessible, and practical, and I am confident in my ability to help learners achieve success.
