Hello! I'm a U.S. Navy veteran, certified teacher, and current graduate student pursuing a master’s degree in Dietetics and Nutrition. I bring over a decade of diverse professional experience — including classroom teaching, academic coaching, IT support, and cybersecurity work — to my tutoring practice. My background allows me to connect with a wide range of learners, helping them build confidence and meet their goals both inside and outside the classroom.

I hold a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and have taught in both public and private schools across Florida and Michigan. My classroom experience includes working with students in grades 3 through 8, with a focus on reading, writing, study skills, and learning strategies. I have also taught in hybrid and virtual learning environments, which helped me develop adaptable and engaging approaches for online learners.

In addition to full-time teaching, I’ve served as a long-term substitute and remote educator, which sharpened my ability to quickly assess students' needs, build rapport, and adapt instruction on the fly. I specialize in supporting struggling readers, neurodivergent learners, and students who need structured support in areas like time management, test prep, or executive functioning.

Now, as a master’s student in dietetics, I also offer tutoring in nutrition, health science, and wellness topics — perfect for high school and college students studying biology, anatomy, or introductory nutrition. I can help break down complex topics into manageable parts and relate them to real-world health goals.

My tutoring style is encouraging, patient, and highly personalized. I believe in meeting students where they are and providing tools that help them thrive independently. Whether your learner needs academic support, structured accountability, or a confidence boost, I’d love to help.

My approach to teaching Bible studies is thoughtful, engaging, and grounded in both scholarship and personal faith.
