Hello! My name is Adam. In April of 2014 I graduated from the University of Michigan-Flint with a major in Economics and Political Science. During the end of my senior year in college, I became a member of the International Economics Honor Society in recognition of my high scholastic achievement. I give credit to my professors who made the subject matter not only educational, but enjoyable. Their ability to relate the class material to current events made me more enthusiastic to study the science of economic analysis further. I will leverage this experience in my tutoring approach to make sure the learning process is engaging and relatable.
I have seven months of tutoring experience with both college students and dual enrolled high school seniors. During that time, I worked one on one with students that asked for additional support in Principles of Microeconomics. Furthermore, I have six months of tutoring experience where I was responsible for assisting students in groups of as many as three during each one-hour session. Within that atmosphere I tutored in K-6th grade level mathematics as a member of a tutoring business.
I want to make the learning experience for the students enjoyable and beneficial. To achieve that goal I am receptive to any inquiries that the students or parents may provide. You may contact me by email. I look forward to working with you.
