I enjoyed my session with Chuang/John very much. He is a very patient tutor and has good guidance techniques. I was having a very difficult time with my advanced statistics, and I would have probably failed had it not been for his help. He responded to my e-mails the same day and we set up a session at the local library and I was able to finish my lessons quicker than I ever would have by myself.
This guy really knows his stuff and is very helpful to students. Of course he sometimes questions why the teacher is teaching in an archaic fashion! Both of our children saw great improvement with John. He is reserved but does an excellent job of explaining.
He help me with my statistics. He did a lot of work before teaching, and explained things pretty clear. Really helpful tutor!
Chuang Z. is a very good teacher of Calculus 2. My first session with him went extremely well and I would recommend him to anyone who is looking for a professional knowledgable tutor.
Taught the steps to do several homework problems in a very efficient way. Helped learn material that will be on an upcoming quiz.
I was very impressed with John. He was patient, helpful and gave me the help I needed with my assignment. He communicated with me, was on time and reliable and I really appreciate that. I would highly recommend him for other students taking statistics classes.

Chuang worked with me on MBA-level Statistics and was a life-saver. I am confident in his ability to tutor at any level of mathematics. Worth every penny.
I am very glad that I am working with Mr. Chuang. He was very helpful and professional before, during and after the tutoring session. He prepared for the session thoroughly. His knowledge of statistics is advanced level. I will be continuing to work with him during the whole semester.
Today was our first day of tutoring event. Chung has an excellent ability of tutoring. He has mastered the subject matter. He has also the ability of understanding his student. I hope I will be successful on my course with his help.
Our day 2 tutoring went very good, My tutor has been magnificent. My success dream will go as dreamed. Thank you John!

John has helped me with my statistics lessons and is very patient. He describes the lessons and homework problems very thoroughly. I now have a passing grade thanks to his tutoring!
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I have a PhD in Statistics. During my PhD study, I have taken several courses related to biostatistics. I also have statistical consulting experience and helped some clients with projects related to biostatistics.
I have Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in mathematics and PhD in Statistics. Besides having taken calculus and differential equation courses, I also have taught it to undergraduate students as a teaching assistant.
I took the course "linear algebra" when I was in college. In my graduate research I used the knowledge from this course extensively. Recently I answered questions related to linear algebra to many students and got excellent feedback.
I have been using MATLAB extensively in my graduate research and have rich experience in this programming language. I have also taught Octave (a programming language very similar to MATLAB) as a student assistant before.
