I received my PhD in molecular virology from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. There I studied gene therapy. My MA is in biology, which was received at St. Cloud State University in Minnesota. I also received my BA in Minnesota, from Gustavus Adolphus College. This was in chemistry, with a minor in biology. I did postdoctoral fellowships at the University of Massachusetts Medical School, as well as the University of Michigan. I was on the faculty at Wayne State University before doing full time research.
I have not previously formally tutored. I have taught college students in a classroom setting. I have provided 1-on-1 teaching and tutoring as a component of my regular job at various universities. I will make every effort to be prepared and assist with your studies. My goal is for you to have a good understanding of the material and achieve high grades.
