My name is Adam Campbell. I am an elementary/middle school educator with ten years of experience teaching all content areas, with a speciality in math, ELA, and American history. I graduated from Grand Valley State University with a GPA of 3.57 and an education degree. I hold a teacher certification through the state of Michigan. Before the classification was removed by the state of Michigan, I was considered a “Highly-effective teacher” based on my professionalism and NWEA scores. This accomplishment remains listed on the MOECS website. I am TESOL certified. I have two years experience teaching bilingual students. I am NAMC Montessori certified, with four years experience teaching Montessori. I will receive my LETRs certification in the summer of 2028. I have trained four different teacher assistants, two of which became classroom teachers themselves at the current school I teach at. I coached basketball for three years before transitioning into a referee. It is common between my two careers working with students for 10+ hours a day.
Expect consistency and rigor from me. I will devote as much outside time and energy I can to any of my students who are dedicated, respectful, and willing. I consider my tutoring a highly-valuable product and expect every student to treat it as such.
