Math and Computer Science Tutor -- All Grades

I am a computer science graduate from the Georgia Institute of Technology, where I earned a Bachelor's and Master's in Computer Science. My coursework has included algorithms, data structures, artificial intelligence, probability and statistics, linear algebra, discrete mathematics, and advanced mathematics. This background allows me to tutor students in computer science, programming, mathematics, and related STEM subjects with a strong understanding of both foundational concepts and more advanced material.

I have experience teaching and supporting students as a teaching assistant for Discrete Mathematics at Georgia Tech. In this role, I have led recitations, held office hours, answered questions, and graded assignments for college students. I have also worked with students individually and in small groups, helping them break down difficult problems, identify gaps in understanding, and build confidence through guided practice. My approach focuses on explaining concepts clearly, adapting to each student’s pace, and using examples that connect abstract ideas to practical problem-solving.

In addition to my classroom experience, I have volunteered through tutoring-focused organizations and have worked with students across different academic levels. I aim to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. Whether a student needs help preparing for an exam, completing homework, learning programming fundamentals, or strengthening math skills, I focus on helping them understand the reasoning behind the material rather than simply providing answers.
