Hi! My name is Rhea, and I am a senior at the University of Michigan pursuing dual degrees in Industrial and Operations Engineering and Computer Science. Throughout my academic career, I have developed strong skills in mathematics, problem-solving, critical thinking, and standardized test preparation. I understand firsthand how challenging and stressful academics can feel, and how intimidating it can be to navigate the college admissions process without the right support system. I am passionate about helping students build confidence while improving their performance.

One thing I have learned through my own educational journey is that success is not just about knowing the material, it's also about understanding how to approach problems, manage time effectively, and develop the right strategies. My goal as a tutor is to help students not only master concepts but also feel confident in their abilities. I strive to create a positive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning from mistakes.

My tutoring approach is highly personalized. Every student has different strengths, weaknesses, and learning styles, so I tailor lessons to meet each student's individual needs. Whether a student needs help strengthening math fundamentals, improving reading comprehension, developing writing skills, preparing for the SAT, or navigating the college admissions process, I work to create a plan that helps them achieve measurable progress. I believe that breaking down difficult concepts into simple, manageable steps helps students build lasting understanding and confidence.

In addition to my academic background, I have experience leading teams, mentoring peers, and working with students through various leadership and consulting roles. These experiences have strengthened my communication skills and taught me how to explain complex ideas in clear and relatable ways. I enjoy helping students set goals, stay motivated, and celebrate their progress along the way.
