Hey team! My name is Adam. I'm a Pathology Resident at the University of Michigan. Before medical school, I completed a bachelor's degree in biology with a minor in chemistry. I love to tutor and I've had extensive experience. My first tutoring job was more than a decade ago and I've tutored and mentored many different types of students since then. I believe the best tutor is the one you only need a couple of times. My goal is primarily to teach you how to learn independently and help you make the most of your time without a tutor.

During my time in undergrad I spent 3 years tutoring for the University's athletic department. I tutored student athletes in subjects ranging from introductory algebra to organic chemistry. I was selected as tutor of the year by that institution in 2018. I also was tutoring high school students at the same time in math, biology, chemistry, and French.

In medical school, I was the head anatomy tutor and head renal tutor. I also tutored in the musculoskeletal, reproductive, and molecular structures courses. I took an extra year in medical school to function almost as a junior faculty, teaching in the anatomy lab. Last year I gave a 2-hour lecture on the anatomy of the hand to 300 medical students and I've written exam questions for the medical school. Additionally, I scored in the top quartile in both Step 2 and Level 2 and I received interviews from multiple T10 pathology residency programs before matching to my top choice at UofM.

In conclusion, I love to tutor and I look forward to helping you be a successful learner, regardless of your level.

Outstanding Tutor for COMLEX & Residency Prep

I cannot say enough good things about Adam. He has been an incredible tutor throughout my preparation for COMLEX and residency applications. His deep knowledge of the material, and experience with the types of questions asked on the exam provided me with the ability to have focused and high yield study aimed at maximizing my score. Adam also provided invaluable guidance for residency prep, including interview strategies, personal statement advice, and how to present my strengths confidently. I would definitely recommend using a session to cover these topics if you are a third year medical student like me. Thanks to Adam’s support, I felt more prepared, less stressed, and truly confident walking not only to my exam, but my residency interviews as well. If you're looking for someone who genuinely cares about your success and knows how to get you there, I highly recommend Adam.

Thorough, Supportive, and Incredibly Effective - COMLEX Level 2 Prep

Adam was an incredibly patient and knowledgeable tutor. He took the time to understand my study plan and goals, offering expert guidance to help me improve my approach and maximize my success on COMLEX Level 2. We discussed test-taking strategies, exam day planning, and worked through AMBOSS practice questions tailored to my practice test score reports. Adam also helped boost my confidence, and I saw real improvement in my practice test scores. I'm super grateful for his support and highly recommend him for COMLEX/USMLE prep.

Awesome tutor!

Adam was very attentive to what I needed help with and created a great game plan of how I can tackle my goals. He made me feel more clear and confident in what I need to do to score what I am hoping for on boards, and I really liked that he took the time to understand my current study habits and give me feedback on how I can continually improve.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I truly can’t thank Adam enough for his support while preparing for COMLEX Level 2. He has been so kind, patient, and incredibly helpful every step of the way. I never once felt judged for the things I didn’t know — instead, I always felt encouraged, understood, and empowered to keep learning. His ability to explain concepts in a way that actually clicks has been a game-changer for me. I’ve gained not only a better understanding of the material, but also more confidence in myself as a test-taker and future physician. If you're looking for a tutor who’s not just knowledgeable, but also genuinely compassionate and supportive, look no further. Highly, highly recommend!
