I have worked with high school and early college students, tailoring my methods to suit their unique learning styles. My experience includes one-on-one tutoring, classroom teaching, and volunteer work. In each setting, I strive to make complex concepts understandable and engaging, helping students build confidence and achieve their academic goals.
During my time with Varsity Tutors, I have provided personalized tutoring to numerous students, helping them excel in various subjects. Additionally, I have supported underclassmen in my high school by preparing them for standardized tests such as the ACT and SAT, sharing effective strategies and study techniques.
One of the most rewarding experiences was virtually tutoring students in Kenya during the COVID-19 lockdown. This taught me the importance of adaptability and creativity in teaching, as I worked to bridge educational gaps and ensure continued learning despite the challenges posed by the pandemic.
Whether in a classroom or one-on-one, I aim to create a supportive and motivating environment. My volunteer experiences have also been rewarding, allowing me to give back to the community while refining my teaching skills. These diverse experiences have prepared me to continue making a positive impact on students' academic journeys.
