Hi! I’m Chelsea.
I’m an experienced special education teacher with over a decade of classroom experience. Currently, I coach and support both novice and veteran teachers in their professional journeys—but I truly miss working directly with students and would love the opportunity to support your child’s unique and dynamic learning needs.

I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Northern Michigan University, where I also received my K–12 teaching certification in Cognitive Impairments. I went on to complete a Master’s in Special Education at Oakland University with an Autism Spectrum Disorder endorsement, and later earned an Education Specialist Degree from NMU because of my ongoing passion for learning.

Throughout my career, I’ve specialized in responding to the individual needs of students both in and out of the classroom. I meet learners where they are and guide them toward their next milestones—always with patience, adaptability, and a commitment to progress. I recognize that every child learns differently and pride myself on tailoring my approach to suit each student’s unique strengths and challenges.

While I bring a robust toolkit of strategies and resources, I deeply value collaboration with families. You know your child best, and I’m always open to your insights and ideas to ensure your child receives the best support possible.
