As a Supplemental Instructor I would coordinate and lead a study session for a specific class. These sessions would be an hour long before or after each class, offering extra help for students in these classes. While there, I worked with students in a wide range of ages, anywhere from 17 to 40 + years old.
Being a father of 3, I have also worked with my children through all levels of their mathematics education. While in elementary, I would spend 1 day a week in their classes, helping all the students in their classes who needed extra help. This has given me great experience in working with younger students.
