Bio

I started tutoring math in high school, then got my Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from U of I Champaign. I continued tutoring during college as part of an after-school program where I worked with high school students. My experience has allowed me to help students at various levels, from elementary concepts to advanced high school math like Algebra 2 and Precalculus.

I continued tutoring during college as part of an after-school program where I worked with high school students. My experience has allowed me to help students at various levels, from elementary concepts to advanced high school math like Algebra 2 and Precalculus.

One of my most memorable experiences was working with a student who had become frustrated and felt like giving up. I slowed down the pace, broke problems into bite-sized chunks, and guided her toward solving them independently. When she finally reached the correct answer on her own, her confidence soared, and she was excited to tackle new challenges. Moments like these inspire my passion for teaching and helping students rediscover their potential.

My tutoring approach focuses on breaking concepts down to their fundamentals and explaining them in a way that's easy to grasp—like the "explain it to me like I'm five" method.
