My daughter began taking William’s class after getting 58% on her AP World History Unit 2 test during semester 1. With two sessions per week, her grades improved significantly, and her confidence grew. In semester 2, she continued with one session per week and ultimately earned an A (96%) as her final grade. Today her AP Exam scored 5. We are incredibly grateful for William’s guidance and feel very fortunate to have found him. William is a highly experienced AP World History teacher. He teaches AP World History at the high school and also serves as an examiner for the College Board. He is deeply familiar with the AP curriculum and requirements, and his expertise shows in his focused and sophisticated teaching. He does not tutor other AP history subjects—his specialization in AP World History allows him to provide targeted, high-quality instruction. William has reviewed many MCQ with my daughter and shared valuable strategies for tackling different types of questions. It helped improve the scores. He also taught how to maximize the performance on the SAQs, DBQs, and LEQs by focusing on what is necessary to earn points, rather than including extra, time-consuming information. His guidance has been especially helpful in managing time effectively under exam conditions. The study techniques and test-taking strategies I learned from William have also laid a strong foundation for my upcoming AP U.S. History course next year.。 William is also an honest and professional educator. I truly appreciate that if my daughter has no further questions during a session, he ends the class early rather than unnecessarily extending it. Knowing she is studying with someone so ethical and committed gives me great peace of mind.

Master Educator and AP World History Tutor

Look no further for an AP World History tutor---Mr. D is the real deal. I have been teaching since 1999, and I can attest to the fact that Mr. D is a master of pedagogy. I could not have put my own child in the hands of a more capable tutor for the AP World History exam. Mr. D knows how to communicate with any learner in order to build confidence and encourage rigor, and he has an exceptional amount of knowledge about his content area and the AP World History exam. He was able to quickly assess my daughter's strengths and challenges in prepping for the test and within one lesson pulled together a study guide and a study plan to help her achieve her goals independently. He strives to build confidence and independence in learners as quickly as possible, and it is this aspect of his teaching that I found most impressive. I enjoyed listening in on my child's first tutoring session so much that I found myself wishing that I, too, could learn history from Mr. D. There's the magic of a great educator. I could not recommend him more highly.

An amazing tutor

My son is home schooled and was taking AP World History ( Modern) this year. When the course started I realized that he would need a tutor to help him through. One session with William and he absolutely loved him. William was always super enthusiastic, thorough, encouraging and engaging. He was also very understanding of my son’s erratic schedule. My son loved every session and found them very helpful. William’s guidance on exam prep and how to answer the questions was super helpful. He was always quick to respond and helped navigate this content heavy course with ease. I would highly recommend William as a tutor. He is very friendly and my son really enjoyed his sessions with him through the year.
