Hello, I am Dr. M, an educator based in Michigan with a diverse background spanning various educational roles. I have taught kindergarten to adult education, and special education. I've had the privilege of teaching across the spectrum. My journey in education has seen me serve as an instructional specialist, literacy coach, academic engagement administrator, assistant principal, principal, and director, all fueled by a deep passion for teaching and learning.

My educational journey includes a bachelor's degree, a master's degree, two education specialist degrees, and a doctorate all from these esteemed institutions: Michigan State University, University of Detroit Mercy, Wayne State University, Saginaw Valley State University, and Central Michigan University. Alongside, I hold certifications in K-8 all subjects, 6-12 English, K-12 speech, K-12 learning disabilities, and K-12 emotional impairment, two teacher consultant credentials, as well as full director/supervisor approval, administrator, and superintendent certifications.

Highlights of my career include achieving some of the highest MEAP scores in the state, guiding teams to multi-year state championship victories in academic games, receiving district recognition for outstanding student attendance, serving on various committees, commendation for innovative parental programs, successfully managing both online and traditional face-to-face schools concurrently, and maintaining perfect attendance throughout my educational tenure.

Outside of work, I enjoy reading, writing, exercising, learning, creating content for my You Tube channel, serving as a board member in my HOA and developing ideas for my podcast. I also enjoy spending time with friends, family and my dog.
