I believe that each child can learn with confidence and the right learning materials. I have been a tutor for four years, and a teacher for three. What brings me the most satisfaction as a teacher, and a tutor is watching my students grow in their academics and building their confidence. I first will assess your child to gauge their present level. I will then use various interventions or supplement materials that will best suit your child and their needs, and build their skills in various subjects. I am looking forward to working with your child and watching them have much academic success.

I received my teaching credential from UCLA in multiple subjects. I am currently working towards my autism certificate at UCLA.

During my time as a tutor I have given students confidence to become better readers, and to understand what they read. I have used programs to build their writing skills such as, "How to Be a Writer" and "Step up to Writing." I am also familiar with Fontas and Pinnell, a reading program that builds fluency, comprehension, writing and vocabulary.

Please feel free to contact me with any additional questions and to start your child on the right path. I'm looking forward to hearing from you.
