I believe learning works best when you can connect what you’re learning to something real. My approach is collaborative, practical, and tailored to the individual. I enjoy helping people break complicated or overwhelming problems into manageable pieces and find the approach that makes things click. I believe learning works best when you can connect what you’re learning to something real. My approach is collaborative, practical, and tailored to the individual. I enjoy helping people break complicated or overwhelming problems into manageable pieces and find the approach that makes things click. My goal isn’t simply to give you an answer, but to help you understand the reasoning and feel confident applying what you’ve learned on your own.
I bring more than 15 years of experience in marketing, business, project management, technology, and leadership. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations with a minor in Marketing from Eastern Michigan University and have progressed from individual contributor to senior leadership roles with organizations including Domino’s Pizza LLC and Crain Communications.
Teaching and mentoring have been an important part of my career. I’ve trained professionals, developed training materials, coached employees one-on-one, and mentored team members as they developed new skills. As a hiring manager, I’ve interviewed and evaluated candidates for professional roles. I’ve also volunteered conducting mock interviews with high school students to help them practice and build confidence. These experiences have reinforced something I strongly believe: people don’t all learn the same way. If one explanation isn’t working, we find another way in.
I work especially well with college students and adult learners, including professionals, career changers, entrepreneurs, and new managers. I can help with business, marketing, project management, career development, interview preparation, and professional communication. You don’t need to know exactly what you need before we start. Bring me the thing you’re stuck on, and we’ll figure out where to start.
