I help law students and bar exam takers improve performance by identifying where they are losing points and building individualized strategies for exams, legal writing, and bar preparation. Whether you are preparing for the bar, struggling in a law school course, or working on legal writing, I focus on practical skills: issue spotting, rule application, essay organization, multiple-choice reasoning, and timed exam execution.

I am a law professor with over six years of experience teaching first-year law students across Florida, North Carolina, Missouri, and Michigan. I have passed the bars in both California and Nevada on the first try and have served as a bar mentor for students preparing for the California Bar Exam. I regularly work with students in core doctrinal subjects, legal writing, and bar exam preparation.

My teaching style is individualized and evidence-informed. I do not simply review outlines or tell students to “do more practice questions.” Instead, I work with students to diagnose the specific issue—whether it is rule recall, issue spotting, organization, timing, or application—and then build a targeted plan to improve. My goal is to make complex legal material more manageable and to help students approach exams with more confidence and a clearer strategy.
