I am a certified educator with over a decade of experience supporting diverse learners across a wide range of ages, abilities, and educational settings. I hold teaching certifications in K–8 Elementary Education, 6–8 English Language Arts and Social Studies, K–12 Special Education, and K–12 Self-Contained Autism. I’ve also received specialized training in PECS, alternative communication methods, UFLI, LETRS, CPI, and CPR — equipping me to support students with a variety of learning, behavioral, and communication needs.
Throughout my career, I’ve taught in multiple settings, including as a Resource Room Teacher, ASD self-contained teacher, and 4th grade general education teacher. In my self-contained role, I worked with students ages 6–26, providing individualized instruction in academics, life skills, and communication strategies. This experience has helped me develop a patient, strengths-based approach to teaching that prioritizes both emotional and academic growth.
My tutoring sessions are customized to each student’s unique learning profile. I use evidence-based practices, multisensory techniques, and clear routines to help students build confidence and independence. Whether I’m supporting a child with early literacy, middle school writing, math foundations, executive functioning, or social-emotional development, I strive to create a calm, consistent, and encouraging environment.
I’ve worked with students one-on-one, in small groups, and in full classrooms, and I understand how to meet learners exactly where they are — and help them move forward at a pace that works for them. My goal is always to empower students to not just succeed, but to feel capable and understood.
