Hello my name is Tyler! I graduated from California State University Fullerton with degrees in accounting and finance. My goal is to help students learn about accounting in a way that everyone can understand. I enjoy breaking concepts down and providing real life examples to aid in my approach.
I have tutored students in both a group (up to 10) and one on one setting. I began tutoring in college at the request of my first accounting professor after seeing me help fellow students in his class regularly. With my experience I have an understanding that each student learns in their own way and that one single approach is not going to be affective with each student and needs to be adapted depending on the students learning style. I have been tutoring the subject for years and love the moments when it clicks for a student.
I have been doing taxes and accounting for over 6 years while tutoring during and before this time. I have my own accounting practice that focuses on the accounting and tax needs of individuals and small businesses.
